Visit the help centre Is Label Studio really free?
Yes. Every template, design tool, batch import and export is free. There are no accounts, subscriptions or paid APIs.
Where do my files go?
Your files are processed in your browser. Projects are saved on this device in browser storage. Export a JSON backup before clearing browser data or changing devices.
Can I print on my own label sheets?
Yes. Set the label width and height, paper size, margins and gaps to match the manufacturer’s sheet. Print at 100% / Actual size and use the calibration PDF before a full run.
Does a barcode mean my product is registered?
No. A valid checksum only checks the code structure. Label Studio does not issue, license or verify GS1 numbers. Use identifiers you are entitled to use and verify registration with GS1.
